Learning a new language does not need to be an expensive experience, as long as the student is willing to put in the time and effort there are almost always affordable, if not free, ways to learn a new language. Local Library Libraries have not just books and reference materials for free, (so long as you bring them back on time), but a lot of libraries are beginning to offer free online language learning resources. They also offer community classes, for free or low cost. Ask your librarian if they offer any services like this. What is EdX? Long story short, EdX is an online website that hosts courses from colleges around the world. Any one can take these classes online for free. You won't get actual college credit for them, but you will get the knowledge, and they can be shown on your LinkedIn profile or gain you certificates. Learning a new language doesn't have to be an expensive activity. There are plenty of free options to learn Spanish that you can use so long as you have a device that can reach the internet. Free online interactive websites There are a ton of free online websites that can help you learn Spanish (or any language). Don't believe me? Google "learn Spanish online free". Go ahead, I'll wait. See? There's a ton. Thankfully, I've already used...well way too many of them. Joining a new website is sometimes my way of procrastinating. A part of learning a new language is memorization, sadly there's really no way around it.  No matter your learning style, flash cards are always a good way to learn a large amount of vocabulary quickly.  Who wants to spend all that time making flash cards though, and couldn't we find some way to help our fellow man out in that time instead? Well, lucky for you, there is a way to practice vocabulary and feed all of your philanthropic needs at one time: freerice.com  .  Simple concept, you go to the website, select the subject that you wish to practice, and then practice.  For every correct answer you "donate" 10 grains of rice to the World Food Program.  Best of all?
